Amman, Jordan

October, 2008

Heading to Israel and the West Bank,
for the first time I flew to Amman's Queen Alia Airport.

I stayed in Amman for only four days, and would love to go back.
I mostly wandered around the city's older part,
near the ancient Roman Theatre and Citadel.

Most of Amman, further west, is essentially completely Westernized.

On my blog I describe wanderings, discussions, and politics,
especially in connection with Jordan's largely Palestinian population.
